Matka – Travel
Matka – Travel was made for Pää pyörälle -Art festival in Helsinki area in the summer 2011. It was performed at the Gallen-Kallela Museum in Espoo. The performance was developed in a fruitful dialogue with the current Tolstoi -exhibition in the Museum.
Matka was based on a study of three different colors: white, red and black. Each dancer created a solo with a theme connected to these colors and each solo was performed in a different room in the museum. For the audience this performance became a travel through these rooms.
Choreography and dance: Elina Hauta-aho, Linda Priha and Anni Rissanen
Production: Pää pyörällä -tapahtuma and Vivarium Kollektiivi
